Lessons
I teach fiddle, guitar, voice, and music production. All levels, all ages.
Fiddle lessons draw from Old Time, Scottish, Irish, and Scandinavian traditions, learning tunes by ear, building healthy habits, and developing the capacity and repertoire to confidently join in a session wherever you go.
Production lessons focus on Ableton Live and the art of home recording. Or we can go wherever you want - sampling, synthesis, mixing, sound design, drum programming, and beyond.
Guitar and voice lessons are tailored to what you want to learn - whether that's accompaniment, songwriting, live looping, or just finding your sound.
Lessons are available in person (Southern Oregon or the Bay Area) or online. Packages start at $150/month.
Booking
As an entertainer I use a looper and a variety of instruments to bring music into being. This can take shape as a set of originals, songs or tunes, an improvised soundscape, a DJ set, or something new.
I play weddings, parties, private events, and rituals. I've provided music for contact improv jams, ecstatic dances, festivals, conferences, memorials, and everything in between. I can bring energy or ambiance, whatever the moment calls for.

Production
I love producing music for other artists. I've been creating in Ableton Live for 15 years, playing fiddle for 30, and have years of experience recording bands and arranging music.
I offer tailored production, mixing, and mastering - remote, in-studio, or on location. Whether you need someone to record your song and mix it to perfection, a beat to sing over, a string or harmony arrangement to fill out a chorus, or just a few tracks of sauce to weave into your mix, I'm here for it.

Session work starts at $200/song.
Full stack production starts at $600 for a one-day recording session and up to 5 hours of mixing. Packages start at $2k for a 4-song EP.
Bespoke mixing and mastering services at $60/hour.
Natural Building
In 2019, I built a straw bale and earth plaster music studio on a piece of land in Southern Oregon with local materials. Since then I've been honing my skills in design, carpentry, natural building, water systems, and land stewardship.
I love collaborating with others who are interested in building this way - whether that's consulting on a project, teaching workshops, or just trading knowledge. I can offer guidance on straw bale construction, clay plasters, small structure design, and the general adventure of building with your hands in collaboration with your community, the land, and the more-than-human world.
